Habiganj Agricultural University Signs MoU with AKC Specialized Hospital to Ensure Healthcare Services

Habiganj Agricultural University (HAU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AKC Specialized Hospital to ensure improved and accessible healthcare services for the university's students, teachers, officers, and employees.

The MoU signing ceremony was held on Wednesday, 4 November, at the Conference Room of Habiganj Agricultural University in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Mozammel Hoque. Dr. Md. Abubakar Siddik, Associate Director of the university's Outreach Division, was also present at the ceremony, along with other officials.

On behalf of Habiganj Agricultural University, Md. Badrul Amin, Deputy Registrar (In-Charge), signed the MoU, while Dr. Ahamed Towfiqul Mostafa, Senior Medical Officer of AKC Specialized Hospital, signed on behalf of the hospital.

The primary objective of this MoU is to expand access to healthcare facilities and make medical services more affordable and accessible to members of the university community. Under this initiative, students, teachers, officers, and employees of HAU are expected to enjoy special healthcare benefits. The agreement is also expected to strengthen institutional cooperation between the two organizations.

The officials expressed optimism that this MoU would pave the way for a long-term collaborative relationship between Habiganj Agricultural University and AKC Specialized Hospital, ensuring mutual benefits and contributing to the well-being of the university community.
