Prize Distribution Ceremony for HAU Futsal Tournament and Essay Competition on July 
Mass Uprising Day Held at Habiganj Agricultural University
A prize distribution ceremony for the “HAU Futsal Tournament Season-1” and the essay 
competition organized on the occasion of “July Mass Uprising Day-2026” was held on Tuesday, 
August 11, at 3:30 PM at the Vice-Chancellor’s Conference Room of Habiganj Agricultural 
University.
The ceremony was organized by the Department of Physical Education of the university. The 
Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Habiganj Agricultural University, Professor Dr. Md. Mozammel 
Hoque, attended the event as the Chief Guest, while the Honorable Pro-Vice-Chancellor, 
Professor Dr. Mohammad Ismail Hossain, was present as the Special Guest.
In his speech as the Chief Guest, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Mozammel Haque 
emphasized the importance of engaging students not only in academic education but also in 
sports, literature, and creative activities. He said that sports play a vital role in ensuring students’ 
physical and mental well-being while fostering discipline, leadership, mutual cooperation, and a 
sense of camaraderie.
He further stated that creative initiatives such as essay competitions play an important role in 
acquainting the younger generation with the history, spirit, and significance of the July Mass 
Uprising. He added that the university administration will continue to give due importance to 
such activities to develop students into competent citizens through a harmonious combination of 
knowledge, values, patriotism, and creativity.
At the “HAU Futsal Tournament Season-1” prize-giving ceremony, trophies and medals were 
awarded to the players of the champion and runner-up teams. Players who achieved outstanding 
performances in various individual categories were also presented with the Golden Ball, Golden 
Boot, Golden Glove, Player of the Match award in the final, and certificates.
In addition, prizes and certificates were distributed among the winning students of the essay 
competition organized on the occasion of July Mass Uprising Day-2026. Students, teachers, 
officers, and employees from various faculties and departments of the university attended the 
ceremony.
