Colorful rally and discussion meeting at Habiganj Agricultural University on 
the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day 2026
A colorful rally and discussion meeting was organized at Habiganj Agricultural University on Tuesday 
(April 28) at 12.00 noon on the occasion of “World Intellectual Property Day-2026”. The main objective 
of celebrating the day was to increase awareness about the importance of intellectual property, create 
interest in research and innovation. The program was organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell 
(IQAC), which plays an important role in improving the quality of education and research of the university. 
Vice-Chancellor of Habiganj Agricultural University, Professor Dr. Syed Sayeem Uddin Ahmed, was 
present as the chief guest at the program. Also present were the Assistant Director of Institutional Quality 
Assurance Cell (IQAC) Dr. Mohammad Aminul Islam and deans of various faculties, heads of departments, 
teachers and officials.
The chief guest in his speech at the discussion said that intellectual property protection plays an important 
role in the economic development, technological advancement and creativity of a country.
The overall management of the event was very well organized and the spontaneous presence of the 
participants made the event a success. The event played an important role in raising awareness about 
intellectual property.
