Habiganj Agricultural University Receives Nomination of Two Members of
Parliament as Syndicate Members
Two Members of Parliament have been nominated as Syndicate Members of Habiganj
Agricultural University. The nominations were recently issued by Human Resource Branch-1 of
the Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat with the approval of the Honorable Speaker. The
nominated members are Alhaj Md. G. K. Gaus, Member of Parliament from the Habiganj-3

affairs. In this context, the inclusion of experienced and knowledgeable Members of Parliament
is expected to play a positive role in the overall development of the university.
The newly appointed Syndicate members, with their extensive political and social experience,
are expected to make significant contributions to infrastructural development, the expansion of
research activities, and the improvement of the quality of education at the university.
In this regard, the Vice-Chancellor of the university extended heartfelt congratulations and best
wishes to all concerned, stating that this nomination will support the university’s progress. The
honorable members are expected to play an effective role in transforming the institution into a
