On Saturday (April 26), the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at Habiganj Agricultural University proudly celebrated World Veterinary Day 2025. This year’s global theme was ‘Collaborative Efforts in Protecting Animal Health’.The event was graced by the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of Habiganj Agricultural University, Professor Dr. Syed Sayeem Uddin Ahmed, as the chief guest, and Dr. Md. Abdul Kader, District Livestock Officer of Habiganj, as the special guest. The keynote speech was delivered by Professor Dr. Mokar Hossain, a renowned figure in the field of veterinary science. The event was presided over by DR. Salauddin Yusup, Lecturer of the Department of Anatomy and Histology. The program featured engaging discussions, enthusiastic participation from students, and concluded with a vibrant Vet Night. The cultural performances during Vet Night showcased the unity, talent, and spirit of the veterinary community.This observance highlighted the essential role of teamwork in animal health, public health, and sustainable development.
