Colorful Rally and Discussion Meeting Held at Habiganj Agricultural 
University to Celebrate World Intellectual Property Day 2026
On Tuesday (April 28), Habiganj Agricultural University organized a colorful rally and a 
discussion meeting at 12:00 PM on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day. This year’s 
theme was “IP and Sports: Ready, Set, Innovate.” The main objective of the celebration was to 
raise awareness about the importance of intellectual property and to encourage interest in research 
and innovation. The event was organized by the university’s Institutional Quality Assurance Cell 
(IQAC), which plays a significant role in improving the quality of education and research at the 
university.
The Vice-Chancellor of Habiganj Agricultural University, Professor Dr. Syed Sayeem Uddin 
Ahmed, attended the program as the Chief Guest.
Also present were Dr. Mohammad Aminul Islam, Assistant Director of IQAC, along with deans 
of various faculties, department heads, teachers, and officials of the university.
In his speech, the Chief Guest emphasized that the protection of intellectual property plays a vital 
role in a country’s economic development, technological advancement, and the growth of 
creativity.
The overall management of the program was highly organized, and the enthusiastic participation 
of attendees made the event a success. The initiative played an important role in raising awareness 
about intellectual property.
