Bondhon Chakraborty was born in Rangpur, Bangladesh. He is a dedicated academic professional currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Crop Botany at Habiganj Agricultural University. With a robust educational background, he earned both his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture [B.Sc. Ag. (Hons.)] and Master of Science in Crop Botany from Bangladesh Agricultural University, excelling in his academic pursuits. Bondhon has contributed significantly to agricultural research, with several publications in reputable journals. His research focuses on crop yield optimization, salinity tolerance in sorghum, and sustainable rice production practices. His works include studies on biochar application and organic strategies to improve soil health and nutrient use efficiency.
