Biography

Md. Ayenuddin Haque is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oceanography and Blue Economy under the Faculty of Fisheries at Habiganj Agricultural University. He holds an M.S. degree in Fisheries Management and is deeply interested in research related to aquatic ecology, pollution, and toxicology. Over the past decade, he has examined the pollution and toxicological status of major pollutants affecting the riverine ecosystems of Bangladesh and has continued to pursue this line of research to the present day. His work contributes directly to addressing today’s environmental issues by providing answers to contemporary scientific questions and tackling management and conservation-related challenges. Currently, he is actively engaged in research on plastic contamination in aquatic habitats and exploring methods for its mitigation.
