Md. Mamunur Rashid is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Chemistry at Habiganj Agricultural University, Bangladesh. He earned his B.Sc. in Agriculture and an MS in Agricultural Chemistry from Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU). Demonstrating exceptional academic performance, he secured the 1st class 1st position in his MS degree and received the prestigious NST fellowship. During his undergraduate studies, he achieved several Dean's Merit Award. Md. Rashid has received professional training in various areas, including food-based nutrition, scientific writing, and GIS applications, which have strengthened his expertise in sustainable agriculture. His research focuses on soil nutrient management, organic strategies for reducing chemical fertilizer usage, and climate change adaptation to ensure sustainable farming and food security. Currently, he holds key administrative roles as the Chairman of the Department of Agricultural Chemistry and Teacher-in-Charge of the Physical Education Department. Driven by a commitment to inspire students and address global agricultural challenges, Md. Rashid aims to advance research in agricultural chemistry and contribute to sustainable farming practices through innovative solutions.
