Shima Debnath is a dedicated educator and researcher with an academic background in Agricultural Extension Education. She completed her Master of Science in Agricultural Extension Education from Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh, in June 2021, achieving an impressive CGPA of 3.971 out of 4.00. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Honors (B. Sc. Ag. Hons.) from the same institution in 2019 with a CGPA of 3.889. Shima’s academic journey began at Muktadir Girls High School in Sylhet, where she excelled with a perfect CGPA of 5.00 in her Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination, followed by her Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with a CGPA of 4.75. She also completed her elementary education in the traditional passing system. In her professional career, Shima has worked as a Research Assistant at Sylhet Agricultural University from July 2021 to December 2022, contributing to agricultural research and extension programs. From January 2023 to January 2024, she has been served as an Assistant Teacher at Purbo Belagaon Govt. Primary School, where she actively participates in teaching and nurturing young minds. Her achievements include receiving the prestigious NST Fellowship from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, in 2020. Shima remains passionate about education, research, and contributing to the agricultural development of her community.
