Nusrat Hossain Nushy was born in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur district on 18 September,1993. She is a dynamic and versatile person who is capable of merging innovative ideas and generating new dimensions of ideology for a better professional world. She awarded talentpool scholarship in both Primary and High School Level and also achieved GPA 5 in both Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary Certificate. She got admitted at Faculty of Fisheries of Bangladesh Agricultural University in 2012. She complited graduation with excellent CGPA 3.884 and 5th merit position in faculty. She has done Post Graduation at Fisheries Management Department of Bangladesh Agricultural University. She achieved 3.984 CGPA with 2nd merit position at her post graduation level. She has done her MS research under AquaFish Innovation Lab Project collaborated with North Carolina State University, USA. In her early career, Nusrat worked as Extension Officer at Department of Fisheries under Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock from 16 April, 2017 to 30 June, 2023. She faced significant challenges in enhancing aquacultural production in field level and also done several researches related to production. She also has done research on feed nutrition , fish technology and health status of fish. Recently she works as Assistant Professor at Aquatic Resource Management and Conservation department of Habiganj Agricultural University from 20 March 2024 to present.
